IN MEMORIAM TO BILL WHO PASSED AWAY MAY 18, 2018

Bill was an enthusiastic supporter of our Art League and always was first to enter a show with us. He realized the opportunity to demonstrate at an event as the best way to communicate with the guests…and he sold his demo paintings!

Bill won BEST OF SHOW in our 2016 Art for HIV show.  He will be greatly missed.

Creating daily has become a natural exercise for me, all my works are intuitive, spontaneous, not planed at all, and I’m very curious myself to see what comes along next.

I basically use a lot of layers of paint, mixed media, scratch into it, etc. Lots of trial and error, no real concept, it’s accidental for most of the time and therefore very unpredictable from the start to the end but beautifully rewarding.

I hope people see the color, texture and depth of the world we live in as reflected in my works. I don’t worry about finding inspiration; spot-on intuition combined with an eye for color is all that I need to get started. It just seems to evolve.
