“No matter the medium, COLOR is the trademark of this artist.” Courier Post, Discover Jersey Arts, March, 2004
First and foremost as a colorist, my art consists of patterns unified by complex color relationships.
My work includes assemblage, painting, mixed media and mosaic. I had the honor of working beside renowned Philadelphia muralist Isaiah Zagar, and my mosaic and mixed media murals can be found in performing art centers, public buildings and hospitals, the largest being “Oceans of Reflection”, a 14′ x 65′ mosaic located in a regional medical center’s outdoor meditation garden.
I am past chair and one of the founding members of the Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts in Millville, New Jersey, and served on the Board of Directors of the DaVinci Art Alliance in Philadelphia. Together with artist Carl B. Johnson, I am a partner in the Independent Artist Studios. I have taught painting, mixed media and mosaics throughout the country, including being a guest instructor at the Studios of Key West in Florida. My home and studio are now located in Apache Junction, Arizona.
